Finding something to do with your husband's pant legs after you cut up his jeans for a cute bucket bag and a ratty old favorite "Vintage" blouse of mine.....one I loved but it just wasn't wearable anymore!
Finding stash yarn in your totes and having enough to make an adorable top for your VERY energetic 3 year old....................

you better wear it on wednesday night you rascal you!
Happiness is knitting, that look's really cute-Anne's right though the floor can't really wear the shrug as well as you!
I agree with Anne, I want to see what the shrug looks like on!
Ya gotta wear the shrug! I know it looks nice on the floor - but, I'm sure it will look great on you...
You did a nice job with the jeans bag...and I like the color of the baby's top...it will be really pretty...
Knitting is HAPPINESS!!!
Debbie, on my jumper for my daughter the yarn I'm using is:Lorna's Laces HAND-DYED YARNS
Swirl Chunky 83% Merino Wool 17% Silk 120 yards.
color: blackberry color: watercolor
I had this yarn before I found Anne's pattern, and she suggests a dk weight yarn so I've had to "modify" the pattern a teeny bit. All I've done is use a size smaller needles than suggested, of course I checked my gauge first, and I've just been careful to measure my work often to make sure I'm accurate to what the pattern says. Someone else suggested to me that you could just do the math and convert the pattern to the larger yarn, but I'm math impaired.
